Legal
Privacy policy
In short: this website sets no cookies and uses no advertising networks. Without cookies and without storing IP addresses, I count which pages are viewed and how often, for example by country and device type. Nobody is recognised across several days. I only receive details such as your name, email or phone number if you take action yourself.
Controller
TYZEN44, owner Sven Stange – for contact details see the legal notice. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA). When the site is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time of access, page viewed) in order to deliver the website and ensure secure operation. Details can be found in Netlify’s privacy policy.
Contact and booking forms
If you use the contact form or the booking form, the details you enter (name, company, contact details, message, and for a booking also the chosen package and your details) are transmitted via Netlify’s form service and delivered to me by email. Netlify additionally stores the submissions in an access-protected area until I delete them. If direct sending fails, the send button instead opens your own email program with the prepared message – it is only sent once you send it yourself. Your details are used exclusively to handle your enquiry and are not passed on to third parties.
If you contact me via WhatsApp, the privacy terms of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) apply; data may be transferred to third countries, in particular the USA. Use is voluntary – you can send me the same requests at any time by email or phone.
Fonts and external services
All fonts are hosted locally on the web server – visiting the site makes no connections to Google Fonts or other font services. Apart from the audience measurement described below, no analytics, tracking or advertising services are used, and no cookies are set. So that you land at the same spot on a page after going back, your browser remembers the scroll position in its session storage (sessionStorage); these entries do not leave your device and are deleted when you close the tab.
Audience measurement
To see how many visitors the website has and which pages are read, I count page views. At the moment two tools run side by side for comparison, neither of which sets cookies: Umami Cloud by Umami Software, Inc. (measurement data on servers in the EU, retention 6 months) and my own visitor counter “Puls”.
Puls runs on Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Cloudflare processes the data on my behalf; the database is located in the EU. Because Cloudflare is a US company that also processes operational data in the USA, a transfer to the USA cannot be entirely ruled out. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
For each page view, Puls stores the page, the time (rounded to the minute), the referring website or the source tag in the link, the device type (phone, tablet or computer), country and approximate location derived from the IP address, and whether the thank-you page was viewed after the contact form. Puls does not store the IP address or your browser’s technical details. From them it only forms an identifier for that day. The key for it is deleted every day (from backups after 7 days at the latest), so the next day the identifier is different. This lets me count how many different visitors came on a given day, but nobody is recognised across several days or on other websites. The data is thus pseudonymised. It is deleted after 400 days (just over 13 months).
I evaluate the figures solely to improve the website. The legal basis for visitors from the EU is my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to the measurement at any time: open tyzen44.ch/en/?puls=aus once. From then on, neither Puls nor Umami count your visits, in this browser on this device, until you delete its site data. To undo it, open tyzen44.ch/en/?puls=an.
